The Negroni is one of the hippest and most popular cocktails around today (even though it has been around since the early 1900's).  It’s so popular, in fact, that Corner Kitchen - along with close to 4,000 restaurants around the country - is taking this week to celebrate the bitterly boozy beverage.

The Negroni is made from three ingredients: Gin, Sweet Vermouth, and Campari.  (If you haven’t jumped on the Campari bandwagon yet, click the link -  you’ll either love it or hate it...seriously – there is no in between!)

In 2013 Imbibe Magazine wanted to celebrate the Negroni, so they chose this week to toast to the classic cocktail.  Negroni Week has become an annual celebration, starting with just a few participating bars and restaurants, and has now grown nationwide.  The buzz around Negroni Week encourages you to get buzzed for a good cause.  All participating bars and restaurants pick a charity of their choice, and a portion of the cost of the drink goes back to the charity.

Corner Kitchen is taking a twist on the classic Negroni, using Four Peel Gin from Watershed distillery, and because we love us some vino: we are topping off the cocktail with a float of the delicious, and bright JCB No. 5 rosé.  Drinking for a good cause?  Sign us up!
